What Do I Have To Pay

The party applying for conformity assessment and certification services is responsible for the payment of any charges. The issuance of the CoCs is based on the shipment’s FOB (Free On Board) value.

Conformity Assessment Fees (Verification Fees)

Shipment Certification - Fees for Pre supply inspection are as stipulated and published by KEBS. The fee guidelines is as tabulated below.

Route A

Ad valorem fee as a percentage of the declared FOB value 0.60%
Minimum Fee (USD) 265
Maximum Fee (USD) 2,700

Route B

Ad valorem fee as a percentage of the declared FOB value 0.55%
Minimum Fee (USD) 265
Maximum Fee (USD) 2,700

Route C

Ad valorem fee as a percentage of the declared FOB value 0.35%
Minimum Fee (USD) 265
Maximum Fee (USD) 2,700

Route D

Ad valorem fee as a percentage of the declared FOB value 0.75%
Minimum Fee (USD) 265
Maximum Fee (USD) 2,700

Notes

  • The above mentioned Fees cover the documentary verification, inspection of goods and container sealing (where applicable)
  • The above Fees exclude laboratory testing, registration and licensing of products

Registration and Licensing – The Fees include evaluation, testing and auditing services. These fees are subject to type of product being Registered and Licensed. Applicants need to contact local Intertek Offices to obtain the quote.
